FAQs for Vendors
Can I Sell This?
We are an all inclusive event which means we allow items from all walks of life as long as they fall under legal, family friendly, non-religious and non-political. As long as your item fits this description you can sell it at the Mom Market.
Can I leave my booth unattended?
Please use your own best judgment on leaving your booth unattended. The Mom Market will not be responsible for covering your booth if you need to step away and will not be responsible for any lost or stolen items if you leave your booth unattended.
Can I share a booth with another vendor?
The only vendors we allow to share a booth under the same fee are authors or artists, due to the nature of the business they are in. If you would like to share a booth space, both vendors will be required to pay the full fee individually unless you fall under the previously listed exception.
Can I have 2 spaces?
If you pay for 2 spaces, you can certainly have 2 spaces. Please reach out if you need more space than just a single stall, and we can see what we can work out and talk about pricing.
Can I have my Kids at my booth where I am selling?
Yes. We are all parents here and understand that we cannot always make alternative arrangements. Our only requirement is that you keep an eye on your children. If we get complaints from other vendors about your child/children causing repeated disturbances we will not allow you back.
Where do I drop off my silent auction items? Do they need to be given before the event, or can I bring it the day of?
You can coordinate with The Mom Committee on when and where to drop off silent auction items. Unless there are circumstances that are discussed with a member of The Mom Committee, then silent auctions are due the week before the event for inventory and preparation purposes.
Can I pay with a method other than cash or venmo?
At this time, we do not have another method of payment. We will announce when additional payment methods are available!
Will marketing materials be provided?
Yes! We will provide social media posts, marketing information, and [if requested] we can provide marketing materials via mail.
How will I know if I have been accepted as a vendor?
You will receive an email from someone in The Mom Committee from our official email.
Do I need to provide licensing or permits?
Vendors are responsible for obtaining and maintaining all required insurances, permits, and licenses. Though we do not ask for them, it is on the vendor to ensure you have them per any legal expectations of federal or state laws.
Will there be electricity?
This will depend on the venue we are hosting the event at. We will be able to provide that information for each event once a venue is announced.
When can I come set up?
Each set up time may vary per market, but typically we try to allow for 2 hours worth of set up time for vendors. How much of that time you utilize is up to your discretion, but vendors are expected to be completely set up at least 10 minutes prior to opening of the market.
